Mill Workers
Hytek Ltd, a progressive swine production company, located in southeastern Manitoba, is now accepting applications for key roles in our feed operations. Feed mill production workers (millers and assistants) are required at both our La Broquerie and St. Malo locations.
These individuals will be responsible for:
- Understanding & operating automated batching systems
- Scheduling feed production with proper sequencing
- Performing medication inventory on a per shift basis
- Conducting shift inventory of all bins
- Sampling & inspecting of received & finished product
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Assist mill co-workers & maintenance, as required
- Other duties as assigned
We are seeking individuals who have the ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers. The successful candidates should be ale to adapt to new responsibilities & work well under little supervision. Shift work is a must. Assets could include previous knowledge of HACCP system, knowledge of feed manufacturing computer programs, and any agriculture- related courses.

Part - Time Truck Driver
Hytek is seeking highly motivated individuals to assume the position of Truck Driver in our Transportation Division, based out of La Broquerie, MB. The successful applicants must have a clean drivers abstract, a valid class 1 license with air, good communication skills and should be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. Duties include safe and efficient delivery of grain, livestock, or feed in Manitoba and possibly across the border. Preference will be given to the applicants with previous experience.
