Fundraising
As part of Hytek’s commitment to giving back to the communities where we do business, our employees are encouraged to give generously of their time and energy to better the communities where they live. This often includes fundraising initiatives to support a wide variety of community projects and endeavours, and we are proud of the personal financial contributions Hytek employees frequently make to such causes.
For example, Hytek fields an impressive volunteer force to raise funds for the Manitoba MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Society. Over the past several years, we have organized raffles and canteens, sent large numbers of participants to the annual Super Cities Walk for MS in Winnipeg and held social evenings to raise money for the fight against MS.
Every year we publicly recognize the employee who has gone above and beyond the norm by handing out the Hytek Volunteer of the Year award. This award symbolizes Hytek’s corporate and individual commitment to making our world a better place.
